First , are you any better  Steve?

Steve refers to having a some breathing problems when exposed to the lagging crap in lofts and basically issued a warning  to fellow sparks to wear masks .

I thought it was time to re- issue it .   Saw a couple of guys the other week , dragging the crap about ect, without masks on.

On a kitchen refurb last week , the builder's guy starts using a mortor joint  router in there , fills the room with brick dust ....me & my mate walk out, make a brew :put the kettle on .   Builder can't get his head round it .  Neither of us can handle loads of building dust & lagging !!

He'd said " Ready for electrics"    Which in builderspeak means there will three other guys in there as well , putting up studding (should be ready)   and routing out brickwork for keying in

Oh  and Why are we all busting a gut and climbing over each other like laboratory rats     ....because the plasterer has a window in his bust schedule & of course he wants a clear run .

Well  whatever gets you through the "Swear Censor " Sharpie  ;)      ( Not that I'd welcome full blown building site language on here TBH )

Is that the Oxfoord  Conchysse  Dickshunery  smelling ?

Please read this post, it seems some members are flaunting the swear filter, may I remind you this is against the forum rules and any member found in breach of the forum rules will be dealt with appropriately.

Thankyou Deke for pointing this out.

Ooooo   I wasn't pointing it out Ma'am  , I was copying it for future use . TBH.      But yes , we don't need to go down the full swearing & cussing road ...  we're Electricians for heaven's sake.

Well I have condition called Sarcoid (faulty immune system), the cause is unknown but they suspect its the environment we live in. It normally attacks the lungs first and because its seeing something it doesn't like, so attacks but fails to stop attacking, so starts destroying healthy lung tissue.

After 1 year of steroids its under control and its been 3 years now. My lungs are damaged so I cannot get anywhere near dust or it sparks a flare up.

The sarcoid also attacks joints, skin, heart, spleen, always feel tired and a host of other things, so basicaly I'm a mess, but plodding on.

My gut feeling is it was the years on site with all the dust about, and the body rebelled, but people not in that environment get it so who knows.

You mean like when they suddenly want downlights in a ceiling thats been lagged and boarded
