Hi, how long would a full rewire to a 2 bed council flat which has been refubished by the Tennant who won't move out but is willing to work with us.
Thanks

It depends on a multitude of factors, such as, how many new sockets, how tough are the walls, what is the floor like (Lifting of floor boards) How much of the customers stuff is in the way, the list goes on and on and on Ariston.

If I said 12 days, and another member said 21 days, you would have no idea who is correct, until you do the job.

Pick a number any number... What is your definition of a full rewire..

Probably got as much chance as of guessing..
how long, and how much is a full weekly shop at the local supermarket??

Isn’t there a magical number that covers all equations???? I’m sure many have mentioned it before?

Being a flat it may have a concrete ceiling with conduit installed? No idea as I haven’t been there.

well a council i used to work for managed them in 1 day... it did often take a few more days snagging though, and thats before the mud slinger turned up

I’m slightly confused here, if the flat is a council flat is that to say the OP is from the council? In which case if the place needs rewiring then there is no if buts or maybe’s the council has a duty to provide a safe installation? Sorry to say the tenant is just that A Tenant? Legal obligations come first. The council may decide to contribute to redecoration if they do choose.
