ROTFWL Seriously though, shouldn't the supply company be onto this sort of thing?

"Oooh, number 83, Unspecific Avenue used 27p of electric again last quarter, and they have 12 kids, a tumble dryer and 4 electric fires. They must be using those low energy light bulbs we sent them."

Cleaver people would add a few extra sockets or put one of the ring's on the rigged supply and carry on paying for the rest of the usage. Stupid people would use the rigged supply for everything and get busted in a few months easy. Greed gets the better of everyone..... and greed is how people get caught.
