The funny bit was, we had just watched them take down the scaffold while we ate lunch. ha ha. I have no idea how they have even managed it. I mean, how hard is it. Each panel has 2 leads, you plug on into next with the only plug that fits, then repeat until all panels are on. Stuff the 2 leads that you are left with through the felt.... You 'have' to be left with a male and female, so how on earth did they end up with 2 female????

Have you measured for voltage between them?

Perhaps the roofers worked in pairs. Each starting from one end plugging panels together.

Until they met in the middle and both had a female connector.

Probably bodged a connection between them and scarpered.

or very unlikely, but maybe one of the panels has 2 of the same connectors?

Why let roofers do a mans job in the first place, they need to be supervised.

i haad checked the strings' voltage to see if either of the above had happens. DEAD!

They sorted it today and went round a comissioned after todays 5 installs.
