Well so am I Bluey  . :B     Written by  Pete Seeger I believe .        Anyone who  is less than  100 yrs old  ..."Where have all the flowers gone"    means " Where have all the soldiers /young men gone" 

In that "Great Land of the Free"  , USA ,   home of free speech  etc .   they were scared of Pete Seeger   ( Folk singer/ writer , banjo payer) , he worried the establishment   because he spoke out against the great pointless slaughter of American youth in Vietnam  ...wrote and sang anti war songs .  They were so scared of one man that no TV station would have him on  .     Like Woody Guthrie  he is one of my heroes . 

Sorry I'm getting boring again  but when one man stands up against the System , the establishment  and the war mongers , those who send the working classes "over the top"  to be mowed down  by the machine guns ...  I want to  stand with him  until someone listens.
