Dear Community,

I have a question I need answering please. I have a shaver point in the bathroom, light pull switch and extractor fan pull switch. The light switch works great but the problem is the shaver point will only work when the extractor fan pull switch is pulled. When the extractor fan turns off after about 15 mins the shaver point continues to charge my electric razor, that's good but I want the shaver point to work separate from anything else. I know I need to switch the wiring inside the extractor fan pull switch but how do I do it?

Thanks

The shaver needs connecting to a permanent live not a switched live. It is a question of where the existing wiring is joined up.  Do the light, fan, shaver & switch all go to a common junction box or are they looped into each other. Need to know what current wiring is to advise correctly. Was this a DIY project or did you pay someone to connect the shaver up?

I don't understand this, when does the shaver point not work?

How do you know this?
