A 40A fused cooker switch,,,,, I've never seen one of these things....

I think he suggested 40amp fused cooker switch incase something happens to cable from house to shed then it wouldn't trip house it stops at switch but I'm not a sparky so I don't know think I need someone to come and have a look

if he wired it properly in the first place, this wouldnt be an issue needing a switch...

I wouldn't have though many half decent electrician would fix cables to a fence either - What are you going to do when the wind blows your fence over?
