Afternoon all.

Just been to price another shower, in a conservatory room. Problem is there is no available flat ceiling to mount an isolation switch. Mounting on conservatory pitched roof spar isnt really possible and will look a bit gash.

I was thinking cooker switch with neon but doesnt the switch need to have a mechanical indicator?

Can anyone recommend a soloution.

Thanks

Chris

Surely only a pullcord requires the mechanical indicator, a 45A switch will by default have mechanical on/off.

45A cooker switch with neon is all you needhowever if its a big shower and you are using 10mm t&e make so you have lots of 10p's for the swear box
Alternatively, ensure the cables are stirpped back correctly and preformed for connection, where practical.

(You may still need the swear box, though)

Sod squeezing 6mm or bigger into a 1 gang box! There isn't any swear box big enough to hold that many 10p's!

2 Gang all the way - even if some people think its ugly ;)

maybe go back to the old MK cooker switch sized box

Can't beleive that you'd put a 10mm twin in a single deep pattress. Don't give them ajn option and they won't know!!
