i probably should just to see what my tax has paid for, but then id rather not know what its been wasted on....

I am back in limbo as from Sunday so will miss most of the events.

Yes ... Big occasions I usually watch ... Footy World Cup, Wimbledon etc. The GB Footy team look like carp though .

I pray the Mad Baskets don't get through the security to inflict their pseodo-religious hatred and vitreol onto the World's TV screens .

Well i've seen 10 minutes of it so, in summary

So far it has been a load of welders and blokes in big hats cooing down the 'dove from above', blokes with hammers pretending to hit something.

Tell you what, apart tongue French, the song choices were very strange, apart from the English one, NI was an ireland catholic song, nothing to do with NI as such, Scotland was about kicking the English's butts, as for Wales, Im sure they coulda picked loads better!

Not into the Olympics at all & it's only on because Mrs107 has it on, but the opening stuff looks ok so far, bit like a British history lesson on speed .........................................shame it cost us so frigging much.
