Sitting here in the Dining Room! :Blushing

Family have the soap awards on the tele in the next room.

Was just walking through and old Amos Brearley (spelling?) from the Woolpack was on.

Thinking electrical...

My parents were Emmerdale Farm fans when i was small.

One thing that sticks in my mind was when they got a microwave in the Woolpack, IIRC we got one at home about the same time.

My Dad was a bit of an early adopter if my Mum let him!

Amos to Mr Wilkes (excuse the non Yorkshireness)

"I can't understand how summat as is not 'ot can make summat as is not 'ot 'ot!"

Funny how Alzheimer's works!

p.s. Also trying to build up my post count! ]:)

Problem with soaps are that there are some people who believe that it is all real and not made up rubbish:C headbang :C headbang :C headbang

some people run their lives according to the soaps

correct me if im wrong but don't Eastenders and Corri take it in turns to get the best soap ?

It is real!

The plot of Emmerdale is actually much more realistic than what happens in reality, in this village...

:D

Last time I watched Corrie Ena Sharples & Elsie Tanner were in it.

Mind you isn't Ken Barlow still in it? Has he ever had another acting job?

Sad B****** :D
I don't watch it, it's on in the pub - and everyone says "That's like what happens around here.... not as bad though"!

I don't watch any of the soaps, fortunately I have a bit of a life... not much but a bit.

;)
