Hello , Funny my last post was outdoor stuff to -

New for old Sodium light all the gubbings in light but its trips RCD 13amp 30 ma , is there workaround ( and no im not by passing rcd ).

any ideas please thank you ? ray

Was the RCD existing?

If yes, +1 to Andy

If no, wiring fault??

If your a competent electrician, when the light is switched off diss the earth at the fitting then switch on and see if the RCD trips if not and the lamp works then it is deffo the ballast, but switch off again before you go back to the fitting to replace the earth.
