spade bits for drilling joists

I had to drill through a couple of joists today and couldn't find a decent bit in the toolbox so ended up down Jewsons (robdogs) and they only had Bosch flat bits - bloody hell they chew through wood !!!! Not cheap but fast !!!!

Those Bosch bits are fantastic - absolutely no pushing effort needed, but at

I'll second these ones. We just started to sell them a couple of months ago and

I was quite surprised by how many we are selling. Most of our customers seemed to know that they were good before buying them.
