Sometimes I have "Logic issues"  which are either with my brain or the rest of the world , I don't know which .

I had one earlier .

A typical one is consumer units with the main switch on the right , that isn't a problem ,   its the fact that most people then  count  1,2,3,4 etc    from R to L , my mate does it , swears its correct  because the old Wylex are like that..    I number L to R    1,2,3,4,   wherever the main switch is .    I don't write  R - L   either.

Another  typical one is ....Mrs Deke purchased some eye drops , they're in the fridge , every time I see them I read the words printed on it .    " Infected Eye Drops "

And I think ....what are they infected with ,  smallpox , yellow fever  :C

So today's episode is ........  put a DVD in , menu page comes up,   it says Play All..........  Choose episode ....... then it says   .... Subtitles  ON / off      So the aging Deke brain  thinks ah  the subtitles are ON   I'll switch them off  .      So the display looks   on / OFF     Wrong !!!   Press play and the subtitles are on the screen.

Is it just me that is going mad ?

The logic is ,  you are invited to highlight your selection ...NOT ... assume  that ON  means they are switched on .  :C      Must be me .

Don't get me started on DVD's

WHY can't you skip the trailers and copyright rubbish on some?

WHY does it have to go into a menu to select "play"

Why can't it be like a video tape, you put it in, it straight away starts playing from the start, if you don't want to watch the trailers you just fast forward?

And what really winds me up is every one is DIFFERENT.

Just to confuse matters I extended a 11kV board. Originally it had two transformers, one either side of the bus-section. Numbered right to left 1,2. I added five more transformers over the years numbered LR 7, 5, 3, 1, 2, 4, 6
