does anyone know what the steel strapping is called that has the holes punched out and it comes on a roll, that you can screw tec bolt or whatever fixing you require, and also can be bent round something to create a strong way of fixing one pole to another

I always knew it as "strapping tape" but when trying to buy some from a wholesaler in a different town they called it "patent band".

I have always known it as all round banding, to be honest I have never known its "proper" name, as that is what we always call it on site.

I just know its fast to install and complies with the fire regs for mettalic suspention of fire cables and such.
