hii all,

who has ever used a intermediate 3 way lighting circuit & instead of going on from the light to add an additional light but has taken the S/L from the last switch L2 & used that to switch the light on off ??

i have never done it b4, but in this case it was a lot easier to do that, than taking it from the fitting.

don't like it my self but hey ;)

as long at the L2 runs in line

ahhh you see i ran a out side light in 3 core and there is a 2 gang switch with the hall light and out side light..... so i used the spare from there n ran it to the light

obis took feed to switch with N

And I thought it was just me...........

WTF is "obis"?????

And your explanation STILL didn`t give me the understanding of where your neutral comes from (but I am getting old & stupid)

I think the feed and neutral were wired to the switch originally! Well that's what I can make of it anyway!!!

If you have feed, Sl and N all at the last switch, then just take your feed to the light from there. That after all is probably how the first light is connected anyway.

With 2 or 3 way lighting there are many ways of wiring it, so you have to work with what you have got.
