Found this on a farm today when stripping out and replacing with Plastic conduit and singles. This one had no lid on it and the ones that did have lids on seemed worse than this.

Standard farm electrics that, millons of them around here, that's one of the better ones being as how it's attached to something.

RCD will hold until they hose it down - which they will!

Having done a fair bit of farm work I can confirm Riggy's comments above, it's not a problem until it catches fire or a cow dies... Does anybody know the short circuit capacity of a 2" nail..?
