thanks for that Andy, but one thing i will say is i have never seen or used a connection like that before!

when people were saying about using jubilee clips to terminate SWA's there was no mention of a suitable enclosure that was actually designed to be used this way, i actually had an image of attempting to use a jubilee clip to terminate an SWA in free air or onto a regular adaptable box.

youll find just about every street light fed form SWA is the same (split/straight con is same cutout, but plastic base). have even seen 951's holding armour. and sometimes the spare from the strap is fed through the second 951 as an earth

from a job a while back (already been posted elsewhere), here is a fully terminated one. complete with jubilee clips

never used a jubilee clip on an underground joint. they normally come with a constant pressure spring
