got a 32A TP oven to fit a switch to. the switch fuse has failed (probably due to swwitching the oven on a few times per day)

i was thinking of a DOL starter without a thermal overload, but google only shows them upto 25A.

anyone know of a 32A DOL, or any other ideas?

What about a separate isolator, no strain on any fuses then or is there a space problem.

32A DOL, are available, but, I would look at perhaps a 32A AC23 rated fuse switch, if you "need" the fuses, that should be fine as the load is only resistive really.

Fit a 63Amp TP Isolator so its overrated ?Or Make a Box up with the contactor inside and start top p/b on the outside - Only thing with a contactor is it isnt any good for isolation for maintenance.

If you need either and cant source I can get them sent, The Isolators are very good and metal clad - contactor would be Siemens with 230V coil

I have a 400kW contactor in stock if thats any good ?
the switch fuse is connected to a busbar chamber, so it would be staying (once replaced) and that would be used for isolation. i would simply be putting the other switch between switch fuse & oven to use for functional switching

making my own with a box, contactor etc isnt a problem, i was just looking for something i didnt have to make

and i dont think the 400kW contactor would be suitable. im trying to switch the oven on & off, not the entire factory!

pref a DOL or something with a button, trying to make it easier to switch on / off if possible

any links / make to a 32A DOL?

failing that, ill just use a more suitable switch fuse
