Do test sheets have to be the ones you buy from the wholesaler?or can you just photo copy them or get them off the internet and fill them in when you are testing?ryan

You can't photocopy the ones you buy from the wholesaler as they are copyrighted, but you can photocopy the ones in the back of BS7671 or use ones from the internet or even design your own (so long as it has the required information)

Providing the essential information on the model forms is included you can write your own. Or use downloaded forms. I think Photocopying BS7671 can be a bit tricky unless you break the spine of the book. But GN3 also has model forms and that may be easier to photocopy is you wanted to.

Agreed, I did mention downloads. I was just trying to comment, 'unsuccessfully'. that photo copying is dam near impossible without breaking the spine of book you have spent

Cheers for that andy so these photo copy test sheets am guessing you just fill in just one original and give it to the customer.None of this customer copy and I keep a copy with the wholesale test books otherwise loads of writing!?

You are supposed to keep a copy of your certificates, so if you fill in by hand, photocopy it before giving it to the customer.

i use a cert that I customised myself to hold more information etc. I use this onsite and handwrite the details onto it then I type the cert up at home on the PC, produce it with my Logo and Napit logo etc, I then give my customer a copy, keep a copy on my hard drive and also on a USB stick incase my HD ****s up.

Another method is go to CEF for eg, they sell non NICEIC etc test sheet pads there which have the duplicates built in.
