Can you fella's help me on this please?

I have my 2391 and have been working for firms since aquiring the qualification... How do I stand in testing and issueing certificates for my own work or issueing certs fo periodics etc?

And if so can I use the forms available to copy in the back of the guide books

Any help with this is much appreciated Guys

Thanks

You can do the work, test and issue cert if its not notifiable (if your not a scheme member?) Re PIRs just use your own forms. HTH

Assuming domestic :Salute

As Matty said , As its domestic your gonna need to notify the work , through a Scam ( NICEIC , NAPIT etc) other wise you will have to do the work and get building control to come and sign it off...

And if you signing work off your gonna need some kinda insurance in place.

Anyone conducting electrical installation work should be inspecting, testing and issuing appropriate certfication for their work.

Yes you can copy the model forms in the back of BS7671, or you could download them from the IET's website. You can even make up your own, bases on the model forms.

The answer to all you bits is YES..

as far a the regs go ALL you have to be is competent

You can buy plain un-logo'ed certificates from the NICEIC website,

http://www.niceicdirect.com/epages/NICShop.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/NICShop/Categories/Certificates/Green

I guess probably from other schemes sites as well

and many wholesalers have books of certs you can buy...

Or you could go for a Software certs if you want..
