TESTING RCD's RCBO's

Mornings all

Can anybody clarify for me the 17th's requirements for testing RCD's/RCBO's

Is there still a requirement for 40ms for rings/socket rads or is it all 200ms

and do you have to do a 1/2-1-5 X test for all

ECA have been handling our introduction into Part P/17th/ and the world of testing all jobs and their instructions confuse me

bs - 200ms at 1 times

bsen - 300ms at 1 times

40ms at 5 times (only needed for 30mA additional protection)

1/2 times test - should not trip on both cycles)

test on both sides (0* and 180*)

older BS 6419 (?) are 200ms at 1x

newer BSEN 61008/61009 are 300ms at 1x
