We fit quite a few of these and have noticed an ongoing problem  which may assist anyone having similar problem .

The panel front cover tamper spring has a notorious habit of NOT switching when the lid is fitted .  Then you get a tamper fault on the keypad and you're thinking  it could be anywhere .

If you just press the top of the front cover lightly , the switch operates ....you just  need to stretch the spring .

Could save you time in checking detectors , climbing back up to the bell etc.

To be honest they have been doing that from day 1 . The R8 suffered problems with the keypad springs too.

It is the only problem I ever had with Veritas , otherwise a very versatile  reliable panel.

I always stretched them and made sure they clicked.
