Congratulations Searly.

What do you plan to do now? Any further courses? What ones have you done so far? I have the paperwork to fill out on the 303 Assignment (Fault finding) and I have the two written exams (C&G 302 & 303).

Regards,

Admin.

Back in September to do the 2392.

May do the 2377 (PAT) at some point too.

No, Level 3 is seperate to NVQ 3. However, by doing the C & G 2330 Levels 2&3 cut out the need to do NVQ 2.

The NVQ will be done over two (2) years.

HTH.

Sourced from my Head of Electrical.

ok thanks so really you do not need the nvq 3 to be a qualified electrician is this right ???

few lads ive asked said the nvq3 needs to be done in order to get full qualification i.e. portfolios etc????

You're an electrician after the 2330 (L2&3) - Qulified after NVQ 3 and fully qualified if you have the NVQ 3 AND the AM2.

my college is paying for my nvq level 3 and am2 they are under way now.i am half way throw my 17th edition course.come sept 09 starting 2391.

was talking to a lad who does pat testing full time and said not to go into that no money in it anymore to many firms under cutting each other.

who is best to register with when you get 2391 if you want to go it alone in the real world ?

so people with with just city and guilds level 3 qualification are not really qualified afterthree years of studying to get the qualification ?

thanks for help

Well done Searley

onwards and upwards!!

so is it possible to clarify where a person stands once they have the 2330 level 2 and 3

whats the difference in being an "electrician" and "qualified"

thanks in advance

P
