The New AM2?

as much info, tips, and help from you's all please!

i have mine in 5 weeks, so all you's can remember, please pass on in this thread.... anything..... thanks.

Ive read the sticky above, and hav a few questions to ask please.

Installation:

-Is the outdoor socket on its own circuit? (supplied via a rcbo)

-How is the commando socket wired?

-Do you bond any trunking? or do you just run a Gas and Earth bond in

Testing:

When doing Insulation resistance:

- do you connect your supply and load togther using connectors, at the DOL starter, leave the neutral in the block and the earth in the block, and then disconnect and the motor?

-do you do your safe isloation on your job, then cpc test's, IR's, then juice up and do your Ze and Pfc?

i would also LOCE IT if anyone had the time to do a brief step by step of each circuit, from leaving the D.B

It would be avantageous for you to do Competence Enhancement Training [pre am2]. This would enable you to complete the Assessment of Occupational Competence [am2] with plenty of gusto.
