TN-S with extra earth?

Hi guys! I came across with this TN-S with extra earth to MET. Is this to do with the supply to next door?

well, on that picture I cant see where any of the earths come from or go to so I couldnt possibly say.

it is quite likely though that you have a TNS and they have took the earth next door via the concentric/split, that would be my first guess as to why the earth enters the cutout from the ISCO

Just a looped supply, common back in the day, not so common now.

Smaller houses X 2 per phase, saved DNO cable I assume.

the wording on that label is wrong...

looks like the braided earth si the earth from the incoming, the other earth in the side of the head is the TNS earth to the next property

Yes. I wouldnt worry about it, yours is a TNS supply.

That braided cable is the earth so i dont think the label is wrong . For a good few years now they say 'Safety electrical connection, Do not remove' .

whats the other black cable coming through the wall into the head,next to the incoming armoured?

I think its a TNS with a loop feed to next door . Earth comes from the cable sheath on that strap, the one from the side of the cut out is ,as said, is the Split-con earth to next door.

So they havn't exported PME ....Phwew !!! ... that was a close one ; ) :coat
