Hi all,

Was just trying to find the opening hours of the local toby carvery when i came across this on their website....

All of our suppliers, regardless of location, operate to strict EU animal welfare standards, which require that all animals are stunned before slaughter to ensure they are killed humanely. This is the industry standard used by all the major retailers and restaurants.
To be absolutely clear, we have no requirement for any of our suppliers to supply us with Halal certified meat. In Toby Carvery the meat on our decks - specifically our turkey, gammon, pork and beef – are all non-Halal"

Well, that is where i will be going. Nice to see a retailer that does not pander to those that, if they do not want to live by OUR laws, customs etc, SHOULD NOT BE HERE........

Bit of a difference from that KFC that refused to give out wet wipes as they contain alcohol that might offend some people!

Bollocks to offending people.....OUR country OUR rules for OUR people.....if they do not like it then they know where they can go

Try googling Mexican immigration Laws.......you have NO rights, cannot vote, cannot use the health facilities without paying, HAVE to have a certain amount of money in the bank. Commit a crime and you are OUT.

Here however....come in...how much do you want?....is THAT all? Have some more!!!

The text here was seen on FB recently shared by a friend of mine, quite good I thought, hopefully true!

A REAL MAYOR WHO REFUSES TO REMOVE PORK IN THE SCHOOL CANTEENS AND EXPLAINS WHY.

Muslim parents demanded the abolition of pork in all the school canteens of Ath in Belgium. Marc Duvivier, the mayor of Ath, has refused, and the town clerk sent a note to all parents to explain why.

“Muslims must understand that they have to adapt to Belgium, its customs, its traditions, its way of life, because that's where they chose to immigrate.

They must understand that they have to integrate and learn to live in Belgium.

They must understand that it is for them to change their lifestyle, not the Belgians who so generously welcomed them.

They must understand that the Athois are neither racist nor xenophobic, they accepted many immigrants before Muslims (whereas the reverse is that Muslims do not accept non-Muslim foreigners on their soil).

That no more than other nations, the Belgians are not willing to give up their identity, their culture.

And if Belgium is a land of welcome, it's not Marc Duvivier that welcomes foreigners, but the Belgian people as a whole.

For Muslims that disagree with secularism and do not feel comfortable in Belgium, there are 57 beautiful Muslim countries in the world, most of them under-populated and ready to receive them with open halal arms in accordance with Shariah.

If you left your country for Belgium and not for other Muslim countries it is because you have considered that life is better in Belgium than elsewhere.

Ask yourself the question, just once: why is it better here in Belgium than where you come from? A canteen with pork is part of the answer.”

I think in the interests of equality Toby should have halal pork available on their menus :innocent

What a refreshing change to read something like that .

So if EU law states that ALL animals should be stunned before slaughter how come we still have halal & kosher meat .   Everyone who butchers or eats such meat should be deported immediatly .

As part of attaining  British citizenship all claimants should have to attend church every Sunday,  eat a full English breakfast every day followed by an alcoholic drink  and a fag .  

Men must wear shorts all through the summer , shake hands with the LEFT hand & have their circumcisions reversed ,  while women must , at all times, wear the traditional English fashion of a mini skirt & crop tops.

Also 2 years National Service will be required , carried out in Afghanistan.

I'd love to see a restaurant advertise halal pork,

I'd eat there.

I would draw the line at mini skirts.....unless voted as acceptable by a panel of site contractors.

Some of the sights I have seen should be FORCED to wear a Burka.....in some cases they could be classed as "double Burkas"......not to be confused with the somewhat similar "double Barker"
