As per the title really....

I had a phone call from a guy for who I have just done a CU change and a new cooker circuit...... just a 32A circuit for a new hob and oven... 6mm and only about 5m long finishing with a Click dual outlet plate

Today Curry's finest turn up to replace the existing,, and say that they can't as the new oven & hob will draw 49A !!!!!

Me... "No mate, it's fine,,,, have you heard of Diversity??"

Him "No mate,,, I'm a Gas fitter by trade" (cheeky sod may have even said engineer!!!!)

LOL

I had a customer call me once. the Shed's delivery man would not connect it because there was no flex.  He had been relying on using the flex from the old cooker.

Typical "offer a sevice then find any way to wriggle out of actually doing it"

I'm just waiting for one to say can't connect it because ut has funny screw heads on the termninals.

We use diversity in Gas Trade to size meters, when more than 2 appliances are connected. :)
