hi guys,do you know if i can put the light switch for a room with only a toilet and small hand basin, on the inside of the room,i dont want a pull switch and am compromised for space on the outside.

I'd check the regs but you guys seem a lot quicker and talk in english.

Presumably there might be an issue if the toilet were to be cleaned with water jets... not that that is likely to be a problem anywhere exept in a Formule 1 hotel!

:)

Yes, nothing wrong with a light switch inside a toilet. It's only rooms with a bath or shower that have restrictions.
Never seen one installed inside a toilet before, room with a toilet though, yes. A 'we all know what you mean' moment, but when you actually read what you typed it always brings a smile, thank you!

Doc H.

Glad to have cheered up your evening.

Mind you, you can get toilets with lights in the bowl, so where does the light switch for that go?

I don't understand how those toilet lights are safe?

I was always told if you smell gas then don't switch on the lights! Well that kinda defeats the object.
