Currently have a Telco 250W toroidal transformer [TLC supplied] supplying a ceiling track with 5 x 12v 50W halogen lights.   The transformer is inaccessible without destroying a laminate bedroom floor and alot of work!   But I would like to either use replacement LED lights in the present fittings or install a new LV track with LEDs.    Will there be any problems underloading the transformer?       Thank you for any help with this,  Greg.

It seems you are stuck with a 12V  supply  if you cannot lift the floor.

So you need to find LED lamps  that work on 12V  ...AND....fit the fittings on the track .  This is unlikely, but I'm not an expert on LED lamps .

I fear you are stuck with 12V lamps as far as I can see,  without lifting that floor.
