hello chaps,

have to install a few towel rads (the ones that run off boiler or electric) just want to confirm all is ok with my plans.

1x switched FCU outside bathroom

1x flex outlet in bathroom.

many thanks

paul

Hi Paul

It must be RCD protected and if other circuits in bathroom (Lights etc) are not RCD protected then you will need 4mm supplementary bonding.

If the circuit you are feeding off does not have 30 m A RCD protection then you could fit a Rcd protected Fused spur as the simplest option.

Main Bonding should be checked as well

all fine there tim, spur from ring (protected)

could you get a thermostic element and wire into unswitch fcu?

Not to safe or practical for user to have to switch off by removing fuse every time

the thermostatics can be turned to zero (off) and are ip 55
