found this in a rental property, and disconnected it straight away. 2 x immersion elements, mains cold water feed, no expansion vessel or any temp pressure relief valves.

Put in as a temporary measure until they could fit the boiler.

Lucky the thermostat in the immersion element did not fail

The cylinder and separate immersion could control the temperature to within ±0.2°C
