Or any other suggestions?

A lot of the guys over on the Discovery forums have these:

The beauty being you can wire them in to the ignition. They sit nicely under the rear view mirror and are very unobtrusive. With this sort of thing the smaller and less obtrusive the better.

Just make sure you can turn sound recording and speed off, if you might use it for insurance purposes. :innocent

What a mess, coming down the sliproad the wrong way!? wouldn't have thought any CCTV was required to know who was at fault for that, still a nice momento for the driver, would imagine any passenger in the corsa would have been dead.

How long before tradesmen will be expected to have a camera to prove what they have and have not been doing all day

A number of our drug reps have trackers in their cars so the company can see what time they left their house and where they went in the day.

A lot of business have trackers in vans as the insurance is cheaper and they can keep an eye on the workers.

I knew some morrisons guys had it on there vans years ago.

I have a spark friend that has recently got his company to supply him a van so he does not have to use his own. He was made up until they started to mention he couldn't have started work 1 hour from his home 15 mins befor he even left his house.

I suggested he gets a fold up push/motor bike to keep on the van. So when he gets the van to site he is able to ride out for extra long lunch breaks.

People on the cards live in a different world.

Taking materials home, using company van and fuel for non company work.

There is even a culture of companies just wanting there staff in attendance as the client gets charged for there staffs time on site.

How many others have done work at a company owners house and that work is charged to another job or put on the business bill.

I am just a poor self employed spark that gets paid for what I do.
