Van vault

Just bought a van vault just wondering if any one has bolted this down before ?

Do you just screw it to the ply wood or bolt it through ?

no point screwing it to the ply, crow bar will easily remove it.

you want to bolt through the floor

Not to sound stupid ( more so) ! How do you know what's under it , do you drill sright through , and bolt !

by looking under the van?

even better would be to measure it, and go through the chassis. but watch for any cables/fuel/brake lines etc

A sparks that uses my local wholesaler has a proper safe bolted in the back of his Transit. Well OTT ,TBH The weight must half his fuel consumsion. !! Thing is , he,s been done over that many times its like an armoured car.
