Hi All,
Seams a bit cold up your end of the world, very pleasant here in Western Australia
ME well I started my 5 Year apprenticeship on Christmas eve 1960 yes a few moons ago so this Christmas will be 50 years in the trade where has the time gone!!!
So back in those days we had to complete 5 years as an installer then get a fitting license then complete Armature & Stator winding and be in the trade for at lest 7 years to apply for an a Grade license it,s now just called an Electrician License.
Since 1970 I have been is Supervision & Lecturing Apprentices, I am current An Electrical Supervisor Most of my time has been in maintenance mainly Mining.
I have learnt enough to know now I still have a lot to learn about our trade.
But I do enjoy my trade Regards Vicdownunder
