Hi All!

i need a landline nuber to put on my website etc, i dont plan on using it and all calls we be diverted to my mobile.

do any of you do a similer thing?

ive done a small amount of searching but its all very confusing and it would appear its quite easy to get screwed over if you dont read into it.

does anyone have any suggestions on a similer type of setup? i have a landline number at home but i dont want to use it for business.

I don't have bt its virgin media, I guess I could look into the charges for an extra line but I but they would sting me on the diverts. Just about to look at andys option and see how much the diverts would cost on that.

Cheers guys keep em comming! :)

Badger that's not a bad idea, I could just use existing line and stick an answer machine on it, might register with tps first. It will be much cheaper and at least I can have a landline number on the websit.

Family friend on bt get them to have a 2nd number through the modem hub using voip.no charge only phone calls made are billed.Seperate number.Answerphone with remote message recall facility.

Im sure i know anyone with bt!!!! how bad is that! i think they all have phones through isp's!

not realy anyone in during the day, virgin want to charge me
