I sympathise with -X- and his hearing. As for myself I,ve noticed lately that everyone has started to mumble quietly, ; \ especially in a noisy pub or workplace. Probably due to holding hammer drills next to my ears and not using ear defenders. Same goes for my knees and not using kneepads until now.
