What do you find more effective...

I have tried a 2 gang & a 1 gang switch, but have settled on a square edge single gang blank plate ;) .

I hope it was an RCD spur, as you were outside. :D :D:D:D

fast fix box (dry liner box), it has a bit of give in it so curves round the windscreen better. :D

tho I have been known to use the blow torch just to give the neighbours a bit of show, shoulda seen the face of the woman next door......

Hercules wasnt too impessed tho, but most of the hair has grew back now,!!!

I have used a Tesco Clubcard in desperation.

I go with specs de-icer method. With the engine running, unless loads of snow then I hunt under seats for my ice scraper.

One of me neighbours cracked his windscreen at the weekend by using hot kettle water - beware!

One of my boys, uses a Single gang switch, screwed to a 16mm back box (plastic).

I've decided not to question him on this, as it appears to do the job.

Did think of using a split load 17th ed CU....

but the tails hanging out scratch the paintwork!!!! :^O :^O:^O:^O:^O
