Come on Andy, I said no internet searching!

Plus you have a head start for a different reason.

Hmm, you also have insider information I suspect perhaps?...
Not at all   Sidey .... Its elementary  Watson ,   SIdewinder does industrial trouble shooting and Medical installs ...it doesn't look industrial sooooo.....

Well to me it looks like a Fresenius Dialysis Machine....But what do i know  :coat
Now we are getting somewhere Watson .   This man is a known collaberator of the Sidewinder ,  I see from the mud on his riding boots that he hails from the Swansea area ,   he types in a South Wales accent .........its a conspiracy Watson !!  Have your service revolver close to hand my good friend until Mrs Hudson has brought up our tea and then ...the games afoot!!!

I , of course knew all along that it was a Franciscan  Diabalo Machine .

too nice looking for CNC machinery, has defo look of medical gear, would appear to be a peristalic pumps of some sort, so if it isn't dialysis I'm voting for anasthectic pump.

reminds me of the joke about little Johnny at school. Teacher says "tomorrow, I want you to bring in anything to do with medicine and hospitals". So the kids bring in bandages, plasters etc except Johnny

Teacher "and what have you brought in Johnny?"

J "It's outside Miss, too big to bring in"

...T "OMG its an Iron Lung, where did you get it?"

J "off me dad"

T "did he say it was ok to bring in?"

J "he didn't say much at all, except aaarrrgghh!"

The place doesn't look clinical / sterile enough for a heart / lung machine...

More supportive than operating theatre? Berlin heart machine?

Will it do a latte? :)

Well, it is a dialysis machine.

I was kind of hoping for a little guessing and some witty remarks before someone got it, not in the first post!

It is a Fresenius, Jono helped me put it where I took the photo of it, it's in the patients living room.

We moved it back to the treatment room after we had finished installing the infrastructure to support it in use in the patients home.

Apparently the machine is state of the art.

I know it is touch screen, has digital patient record cards, like a SIM card, wireless remote control & wireless sensor interface, and can be sued for both nocturnal and diurnal treatment with one or two needles.

Q)  What sits at the end of the bed and takes the p1ss?

A)   A dialysis machine.

I'll get me coat............. :coat

It's a common joke amongst the dialysis "community", if someone is taking the mickey, the patients often pipe up that it's the machine that does that!
