As the title says.

I need a transformer to run a single 12V 10W G4 lamp.

All I can find is transformers 20VA minimum

Will a 20VA transformer really be upset with just a single 10W bulb (I've never tried it)

Doesn't need to be dimmable, just on or off.

Preferably one with terminals rather than fly leads (light fitting has fly leads so want to avoid in line junction on 12V side)

It's for a client, but an unpaid job (doing some odd jobs for a plumber friend in return for some work he did for me) so the cheaper the better, and long delivery is not an issue.

I have fitted a few standard 60va trannys with only a 10w G4 lamp. Never been a problem.
They would sell more of them if the told you they would work like that, rather than making an assumption that you are unlikely to use anything less than a single 20W lamp.

Alpha. Believe it or not, one of the previous forum upgrades dragged us into the 21st century, with all that punctuation stuff included.

Most of us now use it......posts are so much easier to read ;)
