Which router

Hi

Daughter is buying new laptop, wireless enabled, her house does not have internet access but does have a phone line installed. Can you buy a router that will plug into BT socket and allow laptop to connect via wireless? Basically what she wants to do is have a wifi connection between laptop and router to allow internet access. What SP would you recommend? Any views on packages from BT etc.?
