been looking through the office(junk room/spare room/shove it in out of sight room) this past hour or so for my BGB,

cant find it, or my OSG, or GN3,, WTF.!

come to think of it, cant find my screwfix catalogue either, or CPC one, or tradepoint, or electricfix, or any of them,

had a massive tidy up last weekend and threw out all my old catalogues, mags etc.

all current books were 'neatly' [sort of] stacked at the end of the stair box(beside some magazines I was keeping) ready for shelving when I get it put up this weekend,

missus gets home about 20mins ago,

have you seen any of them love? no, none, just the ones you threw out last weekend,

oh, ok, they must be somewhere,a big green book like this red one here?

I think it was in along with the rest of the magazines and stuff you forgot to bin,

well seeing as you were too lazy to bring it downstairs I binned it for you,

I very much doubt the quality and completeness of them! They would also not be acceptable on any assessment.

I hope they do turn up and she made a mistake Steptoe, that's a lot of money in the bin.

GN 3 HAS TURNED UP, WELL NOT EXACTLY, BUT i DO REMEMBERING LENDING IT TO SOMEONE A WHILE BACK, SO RANG HIM AND HE HAS THAT,

the other two, alas have met a timely end I think,

best bit of 100 bloody quid down the drain , blazing row! where TF does she think money comes from, always moaning at me about us being tight and she is throwing 100pound notes in the bin,

never mind I told her, I wont be able to go out and earn any money now til you get me a new one, so I may as well sit at home and drink.

Im not sure if she took that well or not, she hasnt said anything since......

Well my on site guide has gone walks and a few other things in the last couple weeks, not the missus but off jobs, people with f•••••• sticky fingers and my assesment is first week in may ,so now its a few more quid to pay out

I would throw a scenario into the fray, office assessment is OK, then on to first job, 20 questions later one crops up where the need for the book is essential, simply not having it could be detrimental to the outcome of an assessment.

Not everything is contained in the on site guide, of course some material is acceptable in PC format and I do believe this is the first year that the regulations have been available on PC.

However my answer would still stand for anything downloaded from the bay, I would not accept any copies of anything.

us women clean up cos we dont like living in dumps!

i constantly clean up at mine n streetlighters house!

my rule is ' if its been there a week or longer and u dont move it when i ask, then u obviously dont need or want it'

i will admit i am ocd clean. but its more pride then anything! theres not one room in this house that hasnt got evidence of something work related, or satellite related (streetlighters in bad books with that one)

perhaps u guys need to learn the are of putting things where they belong. i.e our green regs and OSG, are in my college bag, which is kept in me car, and me toolbox is in the house on the toolbox stack as it may be required for jobs. but all other tools and powertools have a dedicated storage cupboard.
