Now I'm not saying my wife's obsessive, she's a lovely woman, doesn't spend money stupidly, looks after the house as well as working full time and there's always a meal waiting when I get home, however we were tidying the garden this weekend and I think she went too far. lol

Seems normal. I have on more than one occasion vacuumed the drive.

Did a job the other week and vacuumed the path after I had done drilling holes in the wall, and have been known to vacuum a patio or driveway after having the chop/mitre saw set up.

Women see stuff differently to blokes .

If I did some weeding say ,  filled 10 skips with 15 ton of weeds , the missus would emerge ...glance up the garden and say  " You missed one , just over there look "

As we've said before on here , we shut the curtains ...end of .       Women draw the curtains , then theres gathers to worry about  and how do they look from outside?

My sister has obsessive cleaning disorder. Rewiring her house I had to go to the wholesalers, I got back to find her hoovering between the joists. She had to mop the floorboards before I could put the carpet back. Drill a wall and she was there with the hoover.

The whole family are fruit loops.

That's fake grass. It's only a glorified mat. The dirt would never break down into the soil. How else could she clean it.

We have a leaf blower at our house, for concrete / asphalt areas and the lawn always is cleaned up with the mower.

As long as you don't start ironing the water on top of the fish pond, to smooth out the ripples when its windy.

just dont go too crazy and vacuum all the sand
Believe it or not it's actually wood underneath, she's into the rustic look and instead of buying decking I used planks and sanded them. Then I thought it would look better with a touch of green on it, anyway I was in B&Q and they had this great big lump of artificial grass, it was marked down to a tenner so I got it, looks great and she's happy.

That's cheap as fup. I know a fella who is getting it done and it's £35 per m2 .

And that doesn't count labour just to buy the AstroTurf.

the sand is usually on top of the grass

not on my patio it isn't. The only sand is in the cement underneath. We ended up with fake grass (off e-bay) cos we couldn't afford nice paving slabs, and as e-bay was cheap for the better grade of grass we put it down for a bit of a laugh. Absolutely love it, it's nice under bare feet, looks better than any posh slabs and the only drawback is that it stays wet for a while after raining which is slightly annoying if it's one of those summery days with an odd shower..
