evening all
got a job on at the moment, a flat, where theres a problem with a wireless/ radio control unit which controls 5x heaters, immersion heater and a towel warmer. the 5x heaters are spured off various ring circuit but activated by a radio signal from timer control unit, bit like this

anyone got any experiance with this kind of thing?
the original problem was the hot water wasnt hot enough, the control unti was activating the wireless reciever/relay in CU, but only staying on for 10 mins or so. Tried loads of different settings and zones but always same prob. couldnt work out whether was reciever or control unit.
i ended up taking the immersion off the system and putting a hard wired timer in. alls fine with that now
anyway few weeks later the heaters are now having same prob! these control units are a nightmare! expensive too, coz its for an estate agent reluctant to spend 300 quid on new control unit.
Anyone seen these before? would it be possible to bypass the reciever in each heater and just switch at wall? had a look in one but couldnt see anything simple, thought id do bit more research before butchering anything.
cheers for help!
