they seem a bargin on tlc's website £3 for three different ones for £3.90 for a stuffer ( a lot cheaper than whiska glands)

i just purchased the full range x 3 packs and also stuffings T/E Flat 1-6mm range, and the 32 for 16 tails and 40 for 25s, just started a housing co-operative contract and replacing all boards mainly C2s for BS3036s and of course section 701, theyve decided to go for new boards all round, logical choice, its a PME in the area and every feed has 10mm micc glanded (Orange Sleeve) so they will be little pigs to work on, theres bell transformers on every one (bunched naturally in the LTG circuits) so i will be using these for 1 or 1.5 t/e  out of the box into the supply side of the transformers, all circuits are from behind apart from that and as we all know no hair bear bunching

Hi Dal,

If it is not too late, I would love to quote you for your replacement boards.

Too late or not, any chance of telling me which specific boards you are looking at?

I feel refreshed, some bloke just came here for advise, willing to comply to the new regs, not complaining, just asking where he can get a product advertised to comply.

Well done Dal roberts. SBS Dave is one of our forum sponsors, have a chat with him and I am sure you will come to an agreeable solution.

Morning, SBS Dave , we are gaining access to each property turn by turn day by day and then checking existing boards, because of the micc in 95% of these properties and the short tails terminated inside them we have to then purchase depending on location of main switch, otherwise its adaptable boxes and extending circuits,we have been lucky some have already been extended in henleys with trunking situated around the boards,  if its on the right we go for BG boards at screwfix currently £58.99 and on the right we go for the MK MK Sentry 12-Module Metal Consumer Unit with 100A Switch Disconnector at £89.99 , and for real small area CEF sell a amendment 3 all metal brand called MCG with 6 working way 63a split we have had to use these a few times

please let me know Dave for future reference your fully loaded board deals etc

Hi Dal,

I have attached my latest Price List and you will see that I sell the boxes separately, to be populated EXACTLY as you want them.

It is possible I could supply your requirements for all sizes of DBs, L/H or R/H, instead of BG, MK and MCG.

I also do back knockout insulation and a 16mm standoff frame, all of which saves you valuable time and effort on site.

You DB arrives, ready to mount on the wall, to your exact specification.

Also note that the order value attracts a 5% or a 10% discount.

Hi Dal,

Yes they are all metal and I stock all sizes from 4-module to 22-module. I have the ENC-8LMs in stock.

The LMs are boxes with a Main Switch. The LMRs are boxes with 2 x RCDs.

I have only just introduced 17th Edition Split Boards to my range and they represent less than 5% of my sales.

All my customers usually buy all-RCBO boards, but if there are other members who are interested in 17th Editions, then I might as well try to satisfy that need.

I've done a lot of social housing in my time and there is no such thing as a standard board, even in a block of identical flats, so my flexible approach would probably be of great help to you.

If you give me the spec of a typical board, I can quote you.

Regards

SBS Dave
