It's a shame when comapnies are trying to sell stuff to you and they make such glaring mistakes in their sales literature.

When I was buying for employers, and I don't mean a couple of back boxes, ot full time buying, I'm talking capital investment stuff, enginnering plant and machinery on supply contracts.

One of the criteria I used was any errors in the sales documents, quote etc.

If there were anynthey went in the bin, bases on the premise, if theyncan't get the documents right when they are trying to sell the product, what chance do they have of getting the product right?...

You're very unforgiving Sidey ........... could comment on the ad being sideways   but I suppose it's the right way round to a Sidewinder.  :innocent

FFS, the thread pitches are stated as 0.6" & 0.7", on thread diameters of 3.5 & 4mm respectively.

A 3.5mm diameter thread with a 0.6" pitch is more of a micro Archimedean screw than a thread!

Plus the mix of mm & inches is what cost NASA a Mars Lander!

Just totally incompetent provision of information.

I don't know what I'm more disappointed with the terminology or Sidey reading a screwy catalogue! :coat
It was a flyer in the post tonight, & I'm doing some personal Domestic stuff, which I HATE, so I thought I would have a look, if, there was anything worth buying, it seems not!

Medical install tomorrow, but not a Section 710 job! ;)
