Does anyone in the B,ham ..Sutton Coldfield...Tamworth  or Lichfield   have a copy of Yellow Pages 2012 ?

And if so could you verify yes or no that my advert is there in the ELECSA box ...as Evans Electric  Blah.. Blah

Thanks in advance .

I'ts looking like they are correct .    I think I did run my final advert in the 2012 Pages  ( never had a copy)   Thing is their system did not send out any invoices for nearly a year .     My brain works as such :-   Send me a genuine invoice and I would pay it  ......... don't send an invoice then in my addled brain , the bill does not exist.

I cancelled all advertising with them in April 2013 .

Three years advertising ........result  = nil

I just canceled my HIBU ad last week

Use to get a few calls and work when it was YP, since HIBU i don't get any, get more muppets phone from my website and they get told where to go, the only thing that works for us and has done for years is reputation and recommendation from existing customers.

+1. cancelled mine the other month, although current ones still run for a short time.

they still keep pestering me asking why i cancelled. erm, maybe try looking at the history of complaints / problems and maybe askt he bloke who phoned me last week?

I'm sure we had this discussion already?

They did the same to me. Forgot to bill me for my 2012 advert. Then in 2013 I cancelled. Then I got a bill which initially I dismissed as I had cancelled but upon checking I could find no record of ever getting a bill or ever paying for the 2012 advert, so I paid it to shut them up.

The new YP has arrived here. It's about half as thick as last years, so people are voting with their wallets and not renewing their adverts.

Hibu have done a good job of taking a once respected and useful publication, and destroying it.

I often wondered what hibu was all about. Now I know. Hopeless In Business Understanding.
