I am an immigrant, been here 6 years and wouldn't ever think about living on benefits. I have always been of the opinion that as I wasn't born here I have no right to come and live off the state. Instead I have always had at least two jobs on the go, currently I'm juggling two jobs and college. In the last two days I've worked 26 hours, but I'd much rather do that than having someone looking at me thinking I'm just "another bloody immigrant who's here to life off our tax money".
