We would both like to take this opportunity to wish you all a happy new year. Too often folk just copy and paste a generic message.

So it is with heartfelt thanks to you all for helping us in the Xmas rush. We have beaten all previous records with a daily average of over 100m of lambs throats slit per operator. And piglets?, well let me tell you, at one time we had to get some more hammers, it was likend to a scene from Mortal Combat.

Heartfelt thanks to Phyllis from wages. After finishing early on Xmas eve to stand in as Santa at the Party ( the entrails on your wheelchair were a lovely touch much appreciated by the kiddies) and despite a broken arm she came back into work still dressed up and helped Wayne strangle the remaining week old calves by hand as the LectroDespatcher 2000 had broken. There’s an extra bag of entrails for you when you return, Phyllis

Don’t forget the annual 'bring your daughter to the slaughter day' on Feb 14th

Best Regards, and keep them knives sharp

A Happy New Year to all

The big question is will I actually retire this summer?

My mate is a childrens entertainer at the weekend and he presented this to us on New Years Eve!

Happy New Year, and best wishes for 2024 to be an excellent year for you. @mort2376 sorry to hear your new year started with the father-in-law passing.

Thanks peeps. These things happen as we all have an expiry date. It just brings it home that my parents are that age.

Cherish every moment with family and friends as you never know how long anyone has.

The guy was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Never had a day off sick, worked all his life. Couldn't do enough for anyone.

The worlds a little duller without him, but he won't be forgotten.

We are currently helping a friend with terminal cancer. We are just pleased she made it through Xmas. Next target is Easter, but that is possibly being over optimistic, but we will try, and more importantly try to give her as many good days as possible.

Best wishes for your friend to make it past Easter.
