    Landlords over ride for lighting? Just take a single from each common on two way switch to a key switch. So when key switch operates it permanently feeds through switching. Draw it out and then you'll see it straight away! Hope this helps

    Your saying you couldn't test/work out which was line/neutral terminals on the rcbo without the help of coming on the forum? I know people seek advise but???? You not own a tester?

    I agree mate, I have 3 kids but to all go away on family holidays, school trips cost of living etc needs must sometimes. I suppose I'm still relatively young in my working life so things are different. Aslong as people are happy with their lifestyles and can support themselves and their families...

    Why not earn 50k a year? I earn that on the books for a jib company! Why have the hassle of self employment if your not even earning 50k?

    I see I'm in line for a massive 1.5% increase in January!!! That's cracking after a pay freeze for past 3 years!!! Wouldn't mind having the apprentice wages if I was still living at home though!!! Better than what I got by a long shot!!!

    If you have a double socket why are you using a four way extension for 2 appliances? Is the socket not in right position? If not, I suggest getting a sparky to see what he can do for you as the washer and dryer will use as said near enough 13A a piece when on heating cycles hence 13A fuse...

    Yes dizzy was just looking at the 2396 course which I see is a level 4 course so think that's a good option. Thank for the input guys Are you going further with the degree dizzy?

    That must be some driveway to need 2000w to light it:o Have you measured voltage when at light when contractor pulls in? Could be a surge on starting?
