How do we feel about this trade?

Probably...

Dissilusioned that there are loads of idiots thinking that doing a 5 week EAL course makes them an electrician (without any prior electrical background)

Disheartened that all the Part P scheme operators will allow these to become members

Appalled at the level of training that many are given

Saddened that this trade has such a low profile.

How's that for starters

Welcome to the forum. All trades have good points and bad points. As you would expect the electrical industry is no different. Some of the good stuff is very good, some of the bad stuff is seriously depressing. A lot of the everyday stuff is just get on, do the job then get paid and move to the next job.
